Traditonal to SDWAN Router

  Converting Traditional Router into SDWAN Pre-requisite to move traditional router into the SDWAN image 4300 Series Model : 4GB (Flash & RAM Minimum required ) 8300 Series Model : 4GB (Flash & RAM Minimum required ) In 4300 Series router, When we convert into the SDWAN image the traditional IOS prerequisite should be 16.06.08 image or the higher version should be preferred. Also, Rommon upgrade version should be 16.12.2r or   the higher version should be preferred. To check Rommon Version - ( show platform ) > it will show you the version. In 8300 Series router, When we convert into the SDWAN image the traditional IOS prerequisite should be 16.06.08 image or the higher version should be preferred, there is no need to upgrade the rommon version as it is already capable. 9800 WLC IOS Upgradation

  IOS Upgradation (9800 WLC ) Below Process from GUI: Go to Administration >> Software Management: Transport Method: HTTP, TFTP, FTP (In below snapshot, we have defined from local FE desktop and upgrade the image accordingly) Upload file to the Controller (Required IOS Image Select ) Once the image uploaded to controller, Now we can initiate download and Install the packaged to the controller (Also you can see the progress/Status on the right hand side where it defines the status ) At last, It gives you the option of Save Configuration and Reload of the Controller to makes the effect of new image. Note: For 17.4 and later releases, If you don't click on Commit the auto-timer terminates the upgrade operation after 6 hours and the controller reverts back to the previous image. EWC IOS Upgrade

  IOS Upgradation on 9120 Embedded Wireless Controller Suppose if a firm buy a 9120 Series AP's and they want one of the 9120 AP will be act as a EWC (Embedded Wireless Controller) and other AP's will be joined to the EWC. We need to download the Latest Image IOS as per the model (Ex: 9120, 9130)  from cisco site and whatever IOS is recommended in your organization Infrastructure. Once you downloaded the Image then copy it into the device ( You can copy the image via from TFTP, FTP). When we get a 9120 AP's sometimes they will came up from Vendor as a under EWC image otherwise if we get as an AP so we need to change the ap-type into the EWC AP. How do we identify the AP came in EWC image or AP form? Take the console of a new AP and check the Version Image of AP (as cisco recommends for EWC) alternatively you can identify with the interfaces if in the results you get GigabitEthernet0 interface (Where you defined the Management IP ) that means the AP is in EWC image.     IOS Upgradation on Cisco Switch's As we know cisco introduced the new IOS version with their different features to upgrade the services and performance in the real time network. Below process is common for all the cisco legacy routers that includes the latest version of routers and old models as well. First we need to download the Latest Image IOS as per the model (Ex: 9300, 3850, 3650 etc)  from cisco site and whatever IOS is recommended in your organization Infrastructure. Once you downloaded the Image then copy it into the router ( You can copy the image via from TFTP, FTP and USB drive ) as the Cisco Routers having a USB port as well to move the data from external USB stick to Router Flash drive.
